Hello everyone.  Welcome to my blog.

It is difficult to believe that I am succumbing to the peer pressure (creating a blog).  I always like to think that I have free will, but that is obviously a fallacy similar to taste of steak in the Matrix (always tastes good, but you know it is not a reality).  I believe I have freedom of my actions, but the truth is I am going to be sucked into anything technological because, well to be blunt: I am a geek.  So here I am putting up my thoughts on technology and the like.  Not that anyone will read them, but at least I will be able to point to my written words down the road and say "I told you so" to my friends who think I am whacked.  Granted, if you make enough predictions one will come true.  However, I am going to try to be a little more selective than that and only write about things I see clearly (through my rose colored glasses) enough to form a strong opinion or recommendation.  Of course this also gives me a place to just generally bitch about the stupidity of the industry, because that is cathartic.  We all need to purge our spirits if for no other reason as to say "well I am glad I got that off my chest."  Maybe that is what makes blogs so attractive.  Sounds like an article to me.

(Mind you I have "other" interests that persuade me away from the bits and bites (like the never ending quest to better my handicap - no not my mental handicap just my golf scores) but most of the things I dwell on to the point of coming up with anything even remotely useful to open my mouth about involves the computer.)
