WindowBlinds 6.30 Release

This release for WindowBlinds 6.30 adds new skinning options for layer blend modes. See the betas of SkinStudio 6.30 to check that out.

Support for a number of blending modes for layers
Breadcrumb bar text positioning no longer changes depending on if the window is maximized
Do not shift text when button pressed skin option (edit in SKS)
64 bit has had some tweaks to handle bad sizing of the addressbar
Shadow effect now works on very transparent things like the diamond taskbar clock text.

I was wrong ...

WB is 6.29[rc].158

about cleartype:

no more cleartype in right click menu even if opaque

cleartype seems enables in start menu depending of level of opacity

can't get cleartype in explorer, i.e part where are all icons & "explorer background",
when it's not a 100% opaque theme.

Skinned.. they're still one pixel off. (lower) when Maxed.

Same here...still misaligned...especially if the last breadcrumb is the last available folder in the line...its so low that the whole button isnt even shown(cutoff on bottom...even tho the button has blank space around it)

Also...Maxxed windows start off using glass listview headers but if you mouse into them they switch to normal opaque listview headers...which if maxxed windows cant use translucency, the opaque ones are the ones it should already be using.(the trans ones go dark)

Before the update maxxed windows just used the trans ones(which looked funny because of the dark background),and would switch to the opaque ones if you re-applied the skin with the window already opened...then switch back if you closed and re-opened the window.

I see some things headed in the right direction tho...adding the image dimensions to SKS is a good thing...any chance we can have it reflect the individual state size rather than overall image total?...its making me do math...in my head...not really something you want me doing.

Sometimes that button is the Toolbar button, not the split.... unfortunately if you make it match the split and split dropdown... its too small when utilized in IE

PurrBall: I have a feeling google chrome will always have classic controls.  Thats simply how they designed it.
As for the titlebar, thats something we are looking into.  Please note that the titlebar will be skinned by google chrome on XP and so will not match the WB skin.
EDIT: For some reason it is now picking up OS themed controls on Vista.  Not sure whats going on with that yet.

I noticed that some stuff was just plain not showing up with WB in addition to the classic stuff.  When I use Aero it uses the Windows stuff, not classic.

Just tried it on 64-bit and all is working fine, address bar is now working as it should. I am however getting menu problems when right clicking or just a general dropdown menu. Sometimes the text is garbled and sometimes cleartype is not working on the fonts.

Heres an example:

Google Chrome, great, another borked, unskinnable, useless browser.. IE FTW

IE8 has its own skinning issues.

Yay, thanks!

After installing the latest update from today I am stuck in constant reboot (i.e., WB keeps telling me it has to reboot).  Is there an easy fix for this beyond an uninstall/reinstall?

Guess specs of some sort would help, not sure what all you want/need:

Vista Home Premium SP1
Dell Inspiron 1520
2 GB RAM
nvidia 8600M GT, driver 175.80

Let me know if you need anything else.
